Alterra is seeking a Tube Attendant for the Snowshoe, West Virginia, seasonal position. Pay is $15 per hour with on-mountain housing options and employee perks. Schedule may require mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities include ticket checks, guest assistance with lifts, safety monitoring, and area maintenance. Training is provided, and applicants who join the team can expect a vibrant, guest-focused work environment in a snowy mountain setting.

• Tube Area Maintenance: Keep the area clean, clear snow from ramps, and manage ticket checks.
• Guest Interaction: Greet guests with a positive attitude and assist with lift use.
• Documentation & Reporting: Log daily actions and report unusual weather or conditions.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks to support lift operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ticket Checks & Guest Assistance: Verify tickets, assist guests on and off lifts, and ensure they have proper safety equipment. Provide information and answer questions with a friendly attitude.

• Safety & Operation: Monitor guests during loading/unloading, operate lift controls, and test safety switches. Report any issues to lift mechanics and assist with daily equipment checks.

• Tube Area Maintenance: Keep lift and surrounding areas clean, clear snow from ramps, and ensure an orderly environment. Handle ticketing and pass checks politely and look for counterfeit tickets.

• Guest Interaction: Greet guests with a positive attitude, help with lift use, and maintain a professional appearance.

• Documentation & Reporting: Log daily actions, monitor machinery, and report unusual weather or conditions. Assist with maintenance and collect trash as needed.

• Additional Duties: Perform other assigned tasks to support overall lift operations.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
