Lindsay Corporation provides advanced irrigation, infrastructure and industrial technology solutions and is seeking a skilled machinist/maintenance technician. You will operate tubing end finishers, band saws, forklifts and an overhead crane, perform quality checks, and assist with tooling installation in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires reading blueprints, tape measures, basic math, and English communication. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet production needs.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read tape measures and blue prints.
• Able to operate runout tables, end finishing and bundling, storage building loads.
• Must qualify and maintain handler’s equipment operator license as provided by the company.
• Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.

Responsabilidades

• Observes operation and verifies dimensions of finished products.
• Routinely inspects and removes finished pieces from machine bed.
• Performs quality checks and records those checks as required.
• Maintains the mill and related equipment as directed by the Team Lead.
• Operates material handling equipment (forklifts, bridge cranes, hand trucks).
• Performs accurate quantity counts on all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials and marks information.
• Unloads materials from semi-truck trailers using large forklifts.
• Stores incoming material in the warehouse with complete documentation.
• Fills production/shipping orders and prepares containers for shipment.
• Compares information against bills of lading and invoices for accuracy.
