Job summary

STEICO Industries, Inc. in Oceanside, CA is hiring a Tubing Operator-Bend Runner for the PM shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM). No experience needed; pay starts at $18.00–$19.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined a plus.
• General knowledge of saws and pneumatic tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate bend department equipment and perform pressure testing of tubing.
• Aqueous cleaning of parts after bending.
• Maintain parts in bend cells and track parts with travelers.
• Polish parts to remove blemishes and ensure surface finish.
• Read routing travelers and follow next area instructions.
• Restock supplies using Kanban for department.
• Inspect and log preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Adhere to 5S and safety requirements.
• Support additional duties as needed by operations.

Job Description

No Experience Needed!

PM Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00PM - 10:30PM

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 an hour depending on experience, plus $1 shift differential

As a Tubing Operator-Bend Runner you will:

Processing Parts within the Bend department including Pressure testing of tubing, aqueous cleaning parts after bending and running parts within the bend cells. Operators will use Saws, End finishers, CNC tube benders, aqueous Tanks, pressure testing equipment and other equipment as needed to perform these duties.

What will my responsibilities include?

• Daily and monthly Aqueous clean maintenance
• Aqueous clean parts
• Using pneumatic braider, polish parts to remove any blemishes
• Perform pressure testing of tubes to relieve stress and relax tubes
• Check and measure tubes to customer specifications after pressure testing
• Read and follow travelers for routing jobs to the next area/racks
• Trim, face and deburr parts in production cell
• Using the Kanban supply process, restock supplies for the department
• 5's + Safety requirements
• Inspect, maintain and log preventative maintenance on equipment in the area
• Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate
