Essential Duties

1. Operate and ensure quality of the tub line.
2. Set up machines including tub filling scale, check weight, printer, foil sealer, capper, Polypack, and case erector.
3. Configure tub filling scales: turn on computer, zero scale, program net weights, set vibrators, and adjust for proper piece count.
4. Break down and clean machines as needed.
5. Load tubs, troubleshoot during operation, control waste, and maximize output/efficiency.
6. Follow batch record and complete reports accurately. Ensure finished product quality, including correct weights, tubs, foil, lids, RSCs, shrink wrapping, ticketing, lot number/expiration date coding, and product correctness.
7. Adhere to LOTO policies to ensure safety during machine cleaning and maintenance.
8. Perform 15-minute inspections of finished products and record details immediately.
9. Ensure maximum line output, efficiency, and productivity.
10. Report maintenance issues to engineering.
11. Manage materials requisitioned for production and return unused materials.
12. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient operation.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months’ experience as a machine operator or Certified Production Technician through NCMI.
• Willing to breakdown machines for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Availability to work any shift as needed.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Basic computer skills (log in, complete cGMP, SOP, and email requirements).
