Job summary

Continental is seeking a Truck Tire Curing Setup Tech to support the curing presses. You will install and remove bladders, change molds, drill venting, and troubleshoot presses while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires mechanical experience, high school diploma, and the ability to work evenings/weekends in a non-climate controlled environment with high heat. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform mold and bladder changes as needed.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Truck Tire Curing Shift Supervisor and/or Department Manager.
• Troubleshoot curing presses and make minor emergency adjustments.
• Build and tear down bladders.
• Ensure serial changes in molds.
• Perform MTC and TPM.
• Tear down and clean segmented molds and drill/clean molds in press.
• Perform squeeze, cure cycle, and cure temperature audits per specs.
• Adhere to all ESH procedures and policies.

Job Description

The Truck Tire Curing Setup Tech will:

Setup and make mold changes for Truck Tire Curing Presses. Removal and installation of all bladders. Clean and drill venting in molds. Troubleshoot all curing presses and make minor adjustments as needed.

1. Perform mold and bladder changes as needed.
2. Perform other duties as directed by the Truck Tire Curing Shift Supervisor, and/or Department Manager.
3. Troubleshoot curing presses, and make minor emergency adjustments.
4. Build and tear down bladders.
5. Ensure serial changes in molds.
6. Perform MTC, and TPM.
7. Tearing down and cleaning segmented molds, drilling molds, and cleaning of molds in press.
8. Perform and adjust squeeze audits, cure cycle audits and cure temperature audits accordingly to specs.
9. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

The starting annual salary for this role is $64,613 a year.

Basic Qualifications:

• New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includesevenings and weekends.
• The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.
• The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
