Continental in Mount Vernon, IL seeks a TT Processing Floor Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient operation of the Commercial Processing Department and coordinate scheduling and inventory for staff, machines, and materials.

The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and quality, with reporting duties and a focus on maintaining a compliant work environment. Shifts may include evenings and weekends in a non-climate controlled setting.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's Degree or 5 years of experience in manufacturing supervision.
• Experience overseeing scheduling, inventory, and safety in processing environments.

TT Processing Floor Supervisor will:

The Production Line Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Commercial Processing Department.

2. Responsible for filling out the required reports, paperwork and checks.
3. Maintain communication with employees and management concerning departmental and plant issues.
4. Ensuring that all department employees have safe and productive working environment.

6. Responsible for meeting and exceeding all departmental goals for safety, productivity, and quality.
7. Responsible for meeting individual goals which are agreed upon with the management group.
8. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

The starting annual salary for this role is $72,252 a year.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or 5years experience required.

• Previous manufacturing supervision experience.

Environment:

• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
• New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includesevenings and weekends.
• The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.
• The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
