Job summary

Continental is seeking a CVT Curing Floor Supervisor to lead curing operations on a shift, including presses, molds, and equipment setup. You will supervise the workforce, ensure safety, quality and productivity, and maintain housekeeping and accurate production reporting.

The role requires coordinating training and discipline, adhering to ESH policies, and collaborating with maintenance to keep operations running smoothly. Evening/weekend shifts may be involved.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 5 years experience required.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

The TT Curing Floor Supervisor will:

Responsible for supervising CVT curing activities, insuring safety, quality, productivity and housekeeping. Coordinate the workforce and follow company policies, maintain accurate production reporting and training of employees and conducting disciplinary actions.

The CVT Curing Floor Supervisor is responsible for the CVT Curing operations on a shift, which includes curing presses, molds, and machine setup.

1. Responsible for Production and production efficiencies.
2. Perform all required administrative paperwork.
3. Ensure quality guidelines are met.
4. Collaborate regularly with Maintenance.
5. Coordinate work assignments and manning.
6. Provide a safe work environment.
7. Responsible for housekeeping and alignment in curing area.
8. Ensure proper machinery set up.
9. Provide the proper skill sets on training required for employees to perform the job.
10. Ability to cover the Lead Supervisor if needed.
11. Perform other duties as directed by the Department Manager.
12. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

The starting annual salary for this role is $70,664 a year.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or 5years experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing supervision experience.
• Tire Assembly experience

Environment:

• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
• New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includesevenings and weekends.
• The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.
• The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
