Job summary

Continental is seeking a PLT Uniformity Tech III to support TBM alignment and uniformity optimization. The role focuses on uniformity problem investigation, data collection, and OE yield improvement while performing standard setup duties.

Safety and policy adherence are critical in this non-climate controlled environment. The position requires an Associates degree or 5 years of experience, US work authorization, and may include shifts spanning evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Align TBM as needed and perform vector balancing of TBMs.
• Vector balance Press/Mold systems and set splice arrangements for tires.
• Process evaluation tires on TUOs and balancers.
• Build components and machine waveforms and conduct uniformity audits.
• Investigate uniformity problems and collect data for OE yield optimization.
• Follow all plant, safety, and environmental policies; perform other duties as directed.

The PLT Uniformity Tech III will:

Position has two major areas of responsibility: PLT TBM alignment and uniformity optimization. Uniformity problem investigation and data collection activities in addition to normal daily activities for OE yield optimization and classified analysis, the Setup Technician will be assigned special projects to be completed.

1. Alignments of TBM as needed
2. Vector Balancing of TBMs
3. Vector Balancing of Press/Mold systems
4. Set splice arrangements for all tires.
5. Processing of evaluation tires on TUOs and Balancers
6. Component and Machine Waveform builds
7. Uniformity audits
8. Uniformity Problem Investigation work
9. Classified Tire Analysis work
10. Conducting Special Evaluations as assigned
11. Uniformity Set-up tech will follow all plant policies, environmental policies, and plant and departmental safety policies.
12. Perform other duties as directed by the Uniformity Manager or Engineer.
13. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

The starting annual salary for this role is $64,613 a year.
