Responsibilities

• Supervise Transportation Security Officers and Lead Transportation Security Officers.
• Oversee passenger, carry-on and checked-baggage screening operations.
• Assign work, set priorities, and coordinate staff rotations.
• Make security-based decisions using TSA procedures and judgment.
• Provide coaching, instruction, and development feedback.
• Approve leave and address routine employee concerns.
• Respond to security incidents and checkpoint disruptions.
• Prepare briefings, logs, reports, and communications.
• Coordinate with airport stakeholders and TSA leadership when required.
• Recommend improvements to screening procedures and staffing plans.
