Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled TS873 Trimble Tool Operator to join our team. The operator will be responsible for utilizing the Trimble TS873 for precise layout and measurement tasks in construction and surveying projects. This role requires technical expertise in Trimble equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

This position will require flexible hours, (overtime and weekends), depending on the project demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the Trimble TS873 for layout, measurement, and data collection.
  • Perform site surveys and establish control points for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with BIM teams to ensure accurate digital models for field layout.
  • Maintain and calibrate Trimble equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications for accurate layout.
  • Document and report field conditions, adjustments, and project progress.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and field teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in operating Trimble robotic total stations, preferably the TS873.
  • Knowledge of construction layout, surveying principles, and BIM software.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet project deadlines.
  • Physical ability to work outdoors and on construction sites.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in surveying or construction technology preferred.
