Deloitte’s Cyber team in the GPS practice is seeking a Project Delivery PROJECT - Security Engineer II to perform rigorous threat research, BOM analysis, and vulnerability assessment on DoD/IC systems. The role requires on-site work in Arlington, VA, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Join a team delivering risk-based cyber defense and resilience solutions for federal clients, leveraging open-source and all-source tradecraft to understand complex weapons platforms and defense acquisition lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to work onsite up to four days a week in Arlington, VA.
• 4+ years of professional experience in DoD/IC cyber threat research or classified analysis.
• Strong technical acumen in hardware, software and critical technologies; BOMs and supply chains.
• Familiarity with DoD systems, weapons platforms and defense acquisition lifecycle.
• Experience using OSINT and All-Source methodologies for technical problems.
• Experience with Technical Intelligence or classified Cyber Threat Intelligence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Technology Risk Research: target research on materiel, hardware, and software used in Army systems and assess risk to critical technologies.
• Vulnerability & Threat Analysis: identify vulnerabilities and analyze adversarial attack vectors.
• BOM Analysis: deconstruct BOMs and identify risky, counterfeit components in supply chains.
• Systems Contextualization: apply knowledge of Army weapons platforms and translate vulnerabilities into operational risk.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with analysts and government engineers to align threat data with system requirements.
