Job summary

Yellow Duck Technologies is seeking a cleared Journeyman System/Network Engineer to deploy, configure, and maintain infrastructure for the unified solution. You will work with Kubernetes environments and Government platform services to ensure reliable operation across deployments.

The role emphasizes Kubernetes, Linux/Unix administration, and network configurations, with responsibilities spanning monitoring, security, automation, and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; 4 years of experience may substitute for degree.
• 7+ years of system and network engineering experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and configurations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK stack).
• Understanding of security principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Kubernetes cluster configuration and management.
• Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Support integration with Government platform services.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions.
• Assist with security configuration and hardening.
• Support deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Troubleshoot system and network issues.
• Document infrastructure configurations.
• Support disaster recovery and backup procedures.
• Participate in security assessments and remediations.
