Job summary

Omm IT Solutions in Ft. Meade, Maryland, is seeking a Systems Engineer to apply engineering principles throughout the system life cycle and interface with government overseers and executives.

The role covers multiple ISO/IEC 15288 process areas, including requirements, design, verification, and operation, with emphasis on technical integrity and project management. Active TS/SCI and Full Scope Poly clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus four years of systems engineering experience.
• OR a High School Diploma/GED with four years of general systems engineering experience.
• OR a Master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• OR a PhD may substitute for three years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering activities and assist in preparing work products across ISO/IEC 15288 processes.
• Assist in multiple work products in Project and/or Technical Process Areas.
• Assist in performing systems engineering activities in Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
• Analyze technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
• Develop and deliver work products in ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
