Job summary

Cornerstone Defense seeks a Systems Engineer SME in Herndon, VA to support advanced Windows-based infrastructures for defense and intelligence programs.

The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph, a minimum of 16 years of experience, and extensive Trellix security experience. You will design, deploy, and maintain secure systems while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet mission goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of engineering experience in Windows systems
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Strong engineering experience with cybersecurity operations and systems administration
• Experience with Trellix security products and related tools
• Familiarity with threat intelligence, DLP, AD, and EDR concepts

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement new architecture for services and replace outdated infrastrucure
• Maintain optimal system performance across Windows and Linux platforms
• Monitor health, availability, and functionality of enterprise networks
• Document technical problems and provide end-to-end resolution
• Lead or participate in certification, accreditation, and access control processes
• Collaborate with end users and inter/agency Trellix stakeholders
