Job summary

CACI International seeks a Systems Engineer to design and integrate software-enabled solutions for mission systems. You will work onsite at approved locations in Sterling, VA; Sarasota, FL; or Denver, CO, with TS/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph preferred.

The role requires strong systems engineering fundamentals, hands-on experience across software, APIs, and automation, and the ability to document architectures and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph, or willingness to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in-person at CACI facilities in Sterling, VA, Sarasota, FL, or Denver, CO.
• At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, systems integration, solution architecture, or related technical fields.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with mission management applications or enterprise data integration.
• Proven track record of solving complex technical and operational issues.
• Experience integrating software applications, enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and distributed technologies.
• Familiarity with system testing and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong grasp of systems engineering principles and the system development lifecycle.
• Experience designing or implementing automation for operational efficiency.
• Advanced technical writing skills, including architecture documentation, interface control documents, system diagrams, procedures, and engineering artifacts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while staying aligned with strategic objectives.
• Demonstrated capability to independently prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Atlassian Suite tools, including Jira and Confluence.
