Job summary

Rampant Technologies seeks a Systems Administrator to maintain Linux and Kubernetes platforms in a hybrid on-prem and cloud environment. You will bridge technical execution with strategic goals and support a dynamic R&D lab while communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, strong Linux skills, and automation experience. Employment is contingent on contract award and client approval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly; IA certifications such as Security+ CE or greater.
• Red Hat or Linux certifications are a plus; CNCF Kubernetes certs are a plus.
• Experience with VMware administration and enterprise storage solutions.
• Proficient in Ansible or Puppet and scripting (Bash/Python) for automation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve Linux and Kubernetes platforms across hybrid on-prem and cloud environments.
• Serve as technical advisor and liaison to lab leadership and project teams.
• Implement patch management, security scanning, and STIG compliance.
• Develop automation and documentation to support operations and transitions.
