Job summary

TENAX Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the Air National Guard (ANG) Remotely Piloted Aircraft Special Operations Center (RPA-SOC). This hands-on role covers Windows servers, VMware, storage, and DoD cybersecurity in a secure environment.

Salary ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 per year, with starting salaries based on experience and certifications. The position is full-time, on-site, and involves working with military personnel and government customers to ensure mission

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Systems Administration or related IT experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Windows workstations.
• Active Directory administration experience.
• VMware or other virtualization environments experience.
• Servers, storage/SAN, backups, patching experience.
• Working knowledge of computer networking and network-connected systems.
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices and secure IT environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical personnel and customers.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows servers, workstations, VMs, storage, and software for RPA operations.
• Perform Active Directory administration including users, permissions, and Group Policy.
• Administer and troubleshoot VMware ESXi/vCenter environments.
• Maintain SAN/storage, backups, data retention, and recovery capabilities.
• Troubleshoot server, workstation, network, storage, and application issues.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain physical and virtual systems.
• Support STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• Work with military personnel and Government customers to maintain mission availability.
