Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Solutions Architect to support a critical U.S. Government mission. The role involves end-to-end technology mapping, workflow design, and cross-agency collaboration to improve incident response and defense capabilities.

Candidates must hold U.S. citizenship, an active TS/SCI clearance, and a background in systems engineering, cybersecurity, and government policy compliance. Preferred credentials include a DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification, CSEP, and SAFe experience.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Ability to obtain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) Suitability.
• 10+ years of direct relevant experience in systems engineering and architecture development.
• Experience with cybersecurity attack-mitigation techniques and architectures.
• Knowledge of SE lifecycle, Change Management, and requirements management.
• Understanding of Government information security policies and RMF controls.
• Able to collaborate across agencies and locations.
• Familiarity with SAFe or lean Agile.
• Experience in DevSecOps/DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end mapping of new technology identification, requirements, and workflows across CISA Threat Hunt.
• Document inputs, outputs, and dependencies for each phase of technology insertion.
• Create visual diagrams to illustrate changes’ impact across sections/branches.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to validate workflows and cross-functional impacts.
• Deliver visuals and documentation to support planning, compliance, and readiness.
• Document current and future-state workflows and processes.
• Map dependencies between initiatives, systems, and teams.
• Develop end-to-end workflow diagrams and swimlanes.
• Validate diagrams with stakeholders and leadership.
• Identify gaps and recommend changes to processes and systems.
