Job summary

TENICA and Associates LLC is seeking a driven Junior Software Engineer to join a tight-knit team focused on building a robust modeling and simulation capability for defense communications networks.

You will work across the stack—from backend logic to data integration—embracing rapid prototyping, owning tough problems, and adapting to evolving requirements while learning new technologies.

Qualifications

• Clearance TS/SCI is required.
• Proficiency in at least one OOP language (Python, Java, or C++).
• Experience with databases and how to interact with them programmatically.
• Demonstrated, aggressive appetite for solving difficult problems and learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Write clean, adaptable code across the stack to support M&S tools and models.
• Rapid Iteration: Prototype, build, and deploy solutions that adapt to evolving tactical needs.
• Problem Solving: Tackle ambiguous technical challenges and own roadblocks.
• Data Integration: Structure and query databases for robust simulations.
