Job summary

MSCCN is seeking a Security Specialist to support multiple IC programs in a secure, on-site facility in Virginia. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and strict adherence to government security policies.

Primary duties include coordinating visits, maintaining documentation, providing security briefings, and supporting COMSEC duties. Ideal candidates will multi-task under pressure, possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and be proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Must currently have active access to TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail and operate under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and security databases.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine aspects of SCI programs in compliance with government directives.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with colleagues and customers.
• Coordinate facility visits, badging new hires, and security inquiries.
• Maintain all security documentation per government requirements.
• Update records in SIMS.
• Provide initial security briefings and training.
• Coordinate with Government security offices.
• Conduct inspections, investigate violations, maintain records, and submit reports.
• Review end-of-day checklists and support facility accreditation documentation.
• Act as Alternate COMSEC custodian.
• Assist PSO and ISSO with related tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
