Job summary

Sunayu, LLC seeks a DevOps Software Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain a containerized microservices stack in a DoD-focused environment. You will drive CI/CD automation, operate scalable infrastructure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, security, and operations.

The role emphasizes Kubernetes proficiency, Helm deployments, and strong Linux skills, with a path toward advanced DevOps practices and documentation contributions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years relevant experience; 6+ years with a Master’s.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph.
• DoD 8570 IAT II or higher certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE).
• Strong Linux, Kubernetes, and containerization experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain a containerized microservices stack on Kubernetes.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to speed delivery.
• Support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Use Helm for Kubernetes deployments and feature evolution.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, security, and ops on architectural solutions.
• Contribute to engineering docs, diagrams, and models; participate in Agile ceremonies.
