Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Power Infrastructure Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team supporting a U.S. government program near the McLean area. The role focuses on power infrastructure systems, hardware evaluations, and vulnerability assessments with national security implications.

Candidates should have 5+ years in electrical design and system operations, and the ability to brief technical information to diverse audiences. TS/SCI with Poly is required on day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics required/ preferred.
• 5+ years of related electrical design and system operations experience.
• TS/SCI with Poly clearance on day one is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on power infrastructure hardware and components.
• Educate and brief government task managers and internal customers on relevant technologies.
• Review and assess technical proposals, test results and documentation.
• Support installation, deployment and field activities for power infrastructure.
• Identify, document and mitigate system vulnerabilities and risks.
• Lead an evaluation of test data and system performance impacts.
