Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Power Infrastructure Engineer to support a US Government program near McLean, VA. You will join a multidisciplinary team including chemists, material scientists, mechanical/electrical, aerospace, and cyber engineers to ensure system requirements align with deployment environments.

Key duties include evaluating vulnerabilities, communicating complex topics clearly, and coordinating with government task managers. Travel includes CONUS and occasional OCONUS as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• 5+ years in electrical component design or system operations; hands-on field experience desired.
• TS/SCI clearance with Poly required on day one.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to reverse engineer and assess vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on electronic equipment and components.
• Evaluate trends to propose strategic technology developments.
• Review contractor test plans and performance data.
• Perform troubleshooting and quality assurance inspections.
• Prepare briefing materials for mid-level and senior management.
• Support installation and deployment opportunities.
