Job summary

Quevera, LLC. is seeking a Network Engineer in Fort Meade, MD, to design, install, and maintain scalable network solutions. An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required, with at least 3 years of Network Engineering experience in the last 3 years, and 12 years in related programs.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and DoD 8570.01-M IAT III, CCNA/CCNP, and Security+ are required. The role involves network security, performance monitoring, and documentation, with on-site work in Odenton/Ft.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 3+ years as Network Engineer in last 3 years; 12 years in related programs.
• IAT Level III DoD baseline certification.
• CCNA/CCNP certification required.
• Security+ certification required.
• Proficiency with Linux.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement scalable network solutions, new network layouts, and upgrades.
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls, and associated software.
• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewall rules, access controls, and security protocols to protect data.
• Resolve network issues.
• Monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and improve visibility through metrics and alerting.
• Create and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures.
