Job summary

Peraton seeks a Network LAN/WAN Administrator to support USSOCOM SITEC-3 contracting at MacDill AFB. The role involves Tier 1–2 network support, administering LAN/WAN infrastructure, and coordinating with government and commercial providers. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills are required.

DoD TS/SCI clearance and relevant certifications are mandatory. Target salary range $66,000–$106,000 with potential overtime and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Min 9 years with HS Diploma, 7 years with AS/AA degree, 5 years with BS/BA degree
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
• Two+ years of progressive network experience including implementation, administration, testing and analysis
• 8570 IAT II Certified AND CCNA
• CC DevNet Associate
• Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA)
• DoD 8140 compliance requirement

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, tuning, testing, operation, monitoring, patching, break/fix of WAN/LAN routing and switching infrastructure hardware/software
• Plan, design, engineer, configure, install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN capabilities and circuits
• Configure and manage routers, switches, encryption devices and VLANs
• Collaborate with government and commercial circuit providers to restore circuits
• Prepare technical implementation plans with milestones, timelines and critical paths
• Produce activity and progress reports on network performance
