Job summary

Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a Network Administrator to join a team building and operating AI data center networks powering HPC workloads. The role offers mentorship, training, and opportunities to grow as a subject-matter expert in modern data center networking.

The ideal candidate has a foundation in IT systems or networking, strong ownership and collaboration skills, and the drive to learn new technologies in a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance is required.
• IAM Level II certification to satisfy DoD 8570 IAT requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Document, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot high-performance data center network infrastructure.
• Build expertise through hands-on experience and mentorship in advanced networking technologies (BGP, ECMP, VXLAN, RoCEv2).
• Identify performance trends and capacity constraints; investigate incidents and drive issues to resolution.
