Job summary

Koniag Professional Services, LLC seeks a Mid Project Manager with a current TS/SCI clearance to support our government customer at Ft. Meade, MD.

The role requires 5-7 years of IT project management experience, cross-functional leadership, and strong skills in scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication. You will report onsite five days a week and support end-to-end project lifecycle activities.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of related experience.
• Experience with IT project management across multiple functional areas.
• Knowledge of program governance and portfolio management.
• Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources for complex programs.
• Experience developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule.
• Experience coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and clients.
• Strong communication skills for reports and status updates.
• Experience working with classified systems and environments.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, resources, risk mitigation, and communication frameworks.
• Leads and manages technical quality assurance, schedule management, cost data analysis, progress reporting, and program reviews.
• Creates and updates an Integrated Master Schedule for all tasks and projects.
• Prepares and leads meetings and boards with actionable items and visuals.
• Develops project schedules addressing strategic objectives and milestones; advises Government on corrective actions.
• Leads cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of all deliverables.
• Develops and maintains project work products (charters, WBS, plans) aligned with program docs.
