Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a DevOps Engineer to provide full-spectrum DevOps support for a RHEL/SE Linux enterprise environment. Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining configurations through Red Hat Satellite and Ansible, and collaborating with site administrators to troubleshoot deployment issues.

Qualifications

• RHEL/SE Linux administration and configuration management.
• Deployment and automation using Red Hat Satellite and Ansible.
• Troubleshooting automation and deployment issues with site administrators.
• Installing and supporting libraries within a RHEL/SE Linux environment.
• Integrating third-party tools into automated deployment processes.
• Developing and executing test plans, including filesystem upgrades.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum DevOps support across the deployment lifecycle for a RHEL/SE Linux enterprise product.
• Deploy and maintain RHEL/SE Linux configurations via Satellite and Ansible.
• Troubleshoot automation and deployment issues with site administrators.
• Install software libraries and support in the RHEL/SE Linux environment.
• Automate deployment processes by integrating vendor tools and manual steps.
• Develop and execute test plans, including filesystem upgrades, to ensure reliability.
• Engage with vendors and stakeholders to translate steps into automation and improve deployment capabilities.
