Job summary

Geon Technologies seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support a program’s information assurance. Responsibilities include proposing and enforcing security policies, maintaining the security posture, managing security operations, and performing risk assessments for C&A packages.

Candidates must have active TS/SCI with poly and DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher, with 1–6 years of ISSO experience.

Qualifications

• 1–6 years of ISSO experience on programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Experience in security tools, hardware/software security implementation, or encryption.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Support information assurance programs for a program/organization/system.
• Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies.
• Maintain operational security posture for information systems.
• Assist with security operations for the information system and program.
• Evaluate security solutions to meet requirements for processing classified information.
• Perform vulnerability/risk assessments for Certification and Accreditation.
• Prepare and review SSPs, Risk Assessments, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
• Support security authorization activities per NIST RM.
