Job summary

LMI Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced ISSM/RMF Lead to manage RMF activities for a distributed set of facilities in the Washington, DC area. You will serve as the primary security authority, coordinating with government officials and technical teams to ensure proper accreditation and ongoing security compliance.

The role requires 7+ years in information systems security with RMF responsibilities, DoD IAM certifications, and strong knowledge of NIST guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of information systems security experience with RMF/ISSM responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-37/800-53 and risk management guidance.
• Experience with DoD 8570/8140 IAM certifications and SCIF accreditation processes.
• Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and coordinate with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF assessment and authorization activities across program facilities.
• Develop and maintain system security plans, POA&Ms, and accreditation docs.
• Serve as liaison with Authorizing Officials and security assessors.
• Coordinate with facilities and networks to implement and maintain controls.
• Monitor security posture and lead remediation of vulnerabilities.
