Job summary

HRUCKUS seeks an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) in Annapolis Junction, MD to design and integrate DoD IA architectures for computing, networks, and enclaves. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and IAT Level III certification, with strong skills in networking, cloud security, DevSecOps, and tool suites like Nessus, Qualys, ACAS, Splunk, and CyberArk.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8570.1-M 8140 IAT Level III certs (SecurityX/CASP, GCIH, CISA, CISSP) required.
• Strong background in networking, cloud security, Kubernetes and DevSecOps.
• Hands-on with Nessus, CyberArk, Trellix, Splunk, VMware, GitLab, Windows/Linux.
• Experience with scripting and automation in PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security architecture aligned with NIST RMF and DoD STIGs.
• Conduct SDLC security engineering activities including design reviews, testing, and accreditation support.
• Operate vulnerability management using Tenable Nessus, ACAS, and Qualys to identify and remediate issues.
• Integrate security across Windows/Linux servers, cloud, virtualization, and containerized apps.
• Support incident response and forensics with SIEMs and endpoint telemetry.
