Job summary

Shields Point, LLC, a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, is seeking an Information Security Support Specialist-Mid Level in Vienna, VA. The role owns control of classified documents up to TS/SCI and supports accreditation reviews and risk assessments.

Responsibilities include policy guidance, process documentation, and risk management; must possess a final TS/SCI clearance and 3–5 years of related experience; on-site position with liaison to FinCEN security programs.

Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• 3-5 years of specialized Information Security experience.
• Experience maintaining accountability of classified documents and equipment.
• Experience reviewing documents for markings, classification, and declassification.
• Knowledge of government security programs and policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own control and accountability of classified documents up to TS/SCI level.
• Provide information security expertise and policy guidance to account holders.
• Monitor programs to enhance security controls for classified information.
• Identify, automate, and document key Information Security processes.
• Review accreditation requirements, risk assessments, and vulnerabilities.
• Assist with NSPM-28 OPSEC and CUI programs as needed.
• Develop, update, and implement SOPs, training aids, and directives.
• Maintain databases and training briefings; generate bi-weekly metrics reports.
