Job summary

CA CI Panama City is seeking a Security Specialist with property and logistics experience to support NSWC Panama City. You will manage day-to-day logistics (80%) and security/compliance (20%), safeguarding sensitive information and assets.

Responsibilities include inventory movement, strict document control, visitor access processing, self-inspections, and ISMS security record maintenance, with training and briefings as needed.

Qualifications

• TS Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• BA/BS or equivalent years of experience.
• 3+ years of relevant industrial security experience.
• Firm understanding of security administrative processes and the ability to brief incoming/outgoing government and contractor personnel.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with working in a classified workspace/SCIF.
• Ability to provide security briefings/refresher training.

Responsibilities

• Receives supplies, materials, and equipment and compares against packing slips to ensure quantity and quality is correct and undamaged.
• Arrange and Prepare products for shipment using most economical and efficient packing and shipping methods to ensure safe delivery.
• Performs timely and efficient movement of inventory and error-free entry of all related transactions into ERP/ MRP system.
• Ensure materials are stored and moved safely within the facility.
• Maintain clean and organized inventory stock rooms.
• Effective communication with internal and external shareholders.
• Works independently with limited supervision.
• Influences others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required to support overall logistics operations.
• As the Security Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
• Process incoming/outgoing visitor access requests (VARs).
• Create and maintain strong client relationship.
• Participate in annual self-inspections.
• Maintain personnel security records through ISMS.
• Conduct initial and annual refresher training.
• Maintain document control.
• Investigate and report security violations.
• Practical knowledge of and experience with DISS.
• Staying up to date with the latest SCI handling procedures and regulations.
