Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology in Herndon, VA is seeking a Full-Stack Software Developer to own and deliver mission-critical software. You will work across front-end and back-end stacks using Angular and Java in support of the Intelligence Community.

You will operate in a dispersed team, leverage AWS, Git/Jenkins, and DevOps to drive CI/CD, and collaborate on microservices and complex IT solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• BA/BS or equivalent experience required
• Experience with AWS cloud solutions preferred
• Experience with Angular and Java applications

Responsibilities

• Own the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Collaborate in a dispersed team environment and provide guidance as needed.
• Contribute to web service design and development with REST/SOAP.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices across programs.
• Mentor less-experienced analysts and act as a consultant when required.
• Support Lean Agile Framework in SCRUM team settings.
