Job summary
Vantor Inc. seeks a Database Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain database infrastructure supporting Object-Based Intelligence mission requirements and knowledge graphs.
You will ensure high availability, security, and performance while enabling ontology-driven data integration across enterprise systems. The role involves collaboration with ontology engineers, software developers, data scientists, and government stakeholders to deliver scalable data architectures and analytics
Qualifications
- Experience designing, implementing, and administering enterprise database solutions.
- Experience with relational and graph databases and knowledge graphs.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration from multiple sources.
- Knowledge of security, backup, replication, and high-availability architectures.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, administer, and optimize relational, graph, and semantic DB environments.
- Develop data models to support ontologies, taxonomies, and knowledge graphs.
- Build scalable DB architectures for Semantic Web tech and RDF stores.
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise data integration.
- Collaborate with engineers and government stakeholders to translate requirements into DB designs.
