Job summary

Vantor Inc. seeks an experienced Data Scientist to design, develop, and operationalize advanced analytics capabilities for a government-scale data analytics platform.

You will work with data engineers and software teams to translate mission needs into scalable analytical solutions and deliver actionable insights. Qualifications include active TS/SCI clearance (CI poly desirable), 8+ years in technical data roles, and expert Python/SQL/Elasticsearch skills.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with TS/SCI clearance; willing to CI poly
• 8+ years of total professional experience in a technical/data-related role
• Demonstrated experience in data science, advanced analytics, modeling, ML, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Elasticsearch and related libraries
• Willingness to work onsite at least 90% in Herndon, VA or Westminster, CO

Responsibilities

• Advanced Analytics and Modeling: design, develop, implement, and evaluate models and ML solutions
• Data Exploration and Analysis: analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns and insights
• Machine Learning and Model Development: train, validate, and optimize models for production use
• Analytical Solution Integration: collaborate with data engineers and software developers to operationalize models
• Analytical Leadership and Communication: translate requirements and present findings to teams and leadership
