Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Contract Security Officer (CSO) to support IC mission partners in a mission-embedded role. You will serve as a security partner bridging government authorities and mission teams to enable secure delivery of digital solutions.

You will manage PERSEC and OPSEC activities, oversee SCIF facilities, and coordinate DD254 guidance while maintaining strong liaison with government program managers and ISSMs/ISSOs.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) required.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial or government security, IC-focused.
• Deep expertise in IC security standards (ICD 704, ICD 705, NISPOM).
• High proficiency in IC-specific systems (Scattered Castles, DISS, agency security portals).
• Customer-facing experience supporting IC customers.
• Exceptional communication with government leadership and technical staff.
• Agile problem solving for compliant security solutions.
• Certified CSSO or equivalent.
• RMF understanding to support ISSMs/ISSOs.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary security advisor to Government Program Managers and technical leads.
• Act as the liaison between mission teams and Government Security Office for clearances and access.
• Manage lifecycle of security actions including SCI processing and poly coordination.
• Develop and implement mission-specific OPSEC plans.
• Oversee SCIFs and facility security to meet ICD 705 requirements.
• Interpret and apply DD254 requirements for mission contracts.
• Deliver SETA briefings on threats and vulnerabilities in the IC environment.
• Lead investigation and reporting of security incidents with oversight bodies.
• Maintain readiness for government-led security reviews.
