Job summary

Select Search Associates LLC is seeking a SETA Cloud Engineer to support a government research funding organization focusing on high-risk, high-payoff programs. You will help with cloud engineering, administration, and compliance to national security standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with government leadership to operate, optimize, and secure enterprise cloud environments, including documentation, dashboards, and technical demonstrations for auditors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS/Azure).
• Experience managing cloud accounts, access, provisioning, and cost monitoring.
• Experience migrating applications and artifacts to enterprise cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance (FedRAMP, NIST RMF).
• Familiarity with monitoring and dashboards (CloudWatch/Azure Monitor).
• Ability to produce SOPs and technical reports for stakeholders.
• Experience gathering requirements and supporting technical demonstrations.
• Ability to research cloud-based solutions and recommend approaches.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a Requirements Review Report of the enterprise cloud environment.
• Support the development and implementation of a Project Execution Plan.
• Administer the enterprise cloud environment including accounts and usage.
• Maintain and update the cloud infrastructure environment.
• Coordinate with program managers to transition artifacts to the cloud.
• Research cloud-focused solutions and propose technical requirements.
• Assist with compliance assessments and ATD/ATO remediation strategies.
• Document standard operating procedures.
• Assist with dashboards and reports measuring IT investments.
