Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking an ADCE Engineer to deploy, operate, and scale a massive, always-on distributed system. You will develop and automate platforms, diagnose issues, and improve operational scalability for AWS infrastructure.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or above, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
3+ years Linux systems administration experience
3+ years technical troubleshooting / support experience
2+ years of networking experience (TCP/IP)
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
5+ years Linux systems administration experience (preferred)
5+ years technical troubleshooting / support experience (preferred)
4+ years of networking experience (TCP/IP) (preferred)

Responsibilities

Operate, deploy, and scale a massive always-on distributed system core to AWS services.
Engineer for operational scalability, automation, and platform diagnosis, response, and measurement.
Contribute to the deployment and ongoing operation of cloud infrastructure for government-related AWS work.
