Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Windows Server Administrator in Quantico, VA to support enterprise servers and security compliance. The role focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server ecosystems across 2016, 2019, and 2022, with AD DS, DNS, DHCP, and GPO management in a highly controlled environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V), MECM/SCCM for patching, WSUS, and a strong emphasis on DISA STIGs, ACAS/Nessus, and DR/COOP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in Information Systems Security; total 8 years of experience if no degree.
• Experience navigating sponsor accreditation process and ICD 503 BOE creation.
• Proven experience meeting security requirements in sponsor environment.
• Experience collaborating across large teams to drive security initiatives.
• Experience with network inventorying and documentation (compliance, configuration management, patching).
• Strong ability to create and maintain technical, network, and security documentation.

Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server OS (2016, 2019, 2022) while monitoring performance.
• Managing AD DS: domain controllers, user/group management, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs.
• Administering virtualized servers with VMware vSphere/ESXi or Hyper-V.
• Planning and executing automated patching and OS deployments using MECM/SCCM and WSUS.
• Hardening Windows servers per DISA STIGs and remediating with ACAS/Nessus.
• Maintaining enterprise backups and participating in DR/COOP testing.
