Onyx Point, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Configuration Management & Release Engineer to lead and support CM, release control, packaging, versioning, and artifact management across development and deployment environments.

The role requires 14+ years of SWE experience in similar scopes and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or 4 additional SWE years in lieu of the degree). Remote-friendly, with compensation details noted by location.

Formación

• 14+ years of SWE experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; four years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with RPM packages, Helm charts, and container images in repositories/registries.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support software configuration management and release control across multiple environments.
• Ensure releases are versioned, packaged, documented, reproducible, and traceable.
• Manage artifact repositories and container images in registries such as Nexus, Harbor, ContainerYard.
• Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Maven; Kubernetes basics helpful).
