Job summary

Peraton seeks an experienced application developer to design, develop, and deploy a scalable web application that orchestrates a Kubernetes-based collection of containerized services.

You will build REST APIs in Python or Java, containerize with Docker, create data pipelines and interactive dashboards, and collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• 14 years of software engineering experience on complex programs.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Proficiency in Python or Java.
• Experience with web frameworks (Flask, Django, Spring Boot).
• Experience with data pipelines and data processing tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy a scalable web application using a Kubernetes cluster.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices in Python or Java.
• Containerize, deploy, and manage apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Architect data pipelines to ingest and deliver data to apps.
• Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations using modern frameworks.
• Develop tests and CI/CD pipelines; monitor production systems.
