Job summary
Tom Sawyer Software seeks a Senior Scrum Master to guide an engineering team through the SDLC using Agile and Scrum best practices. The role will facilitate ceremonies, promote open communication with stakeholders, and keep the team focused on high-priority work while remaining adaptable for process improvements.
The position requires TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly, strong communication skills, and experience in Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years as Senior Scrum Master.
- TS/SCI with CI Poly required.
- Deep knowledge of Agile and SAFe.
- Strong SDLC understanding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Facilitation and coaching skills.
- Ability to lead Scrum ceremonies.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and remove obstacles to keep workflow smooth.
- Coach teams on Scrum principles and Agile values.
- Promote Agile methodologies and team collaboration.
- Shield team from external distractions.
- Track progress, identify risks, help mitigate issues.
- Assist Product Owner with backlog prioritization.
- Attend quarterly planning meetings in person in the NCR.
