Job summary

deciBel Research in Dayton, OH seeks a Remote Sensing Software Engineer to architect advanced SDA and remote sensing exploitation pipelines. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams and shape tools integrating imaging physics, ML inference, and multi-sensor fusion.

The role requires 3+ years in remote sensing or GEOINT, proficiency in Python/C++, and TS/SCI clearance with willingness for a polygraph. You'll work on scalable computing using HPC or cloud and collaborate with mission leadership.

Qualifications

• BS in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in remote sensing, image processing, or GEOINT data exploitation.
• Experience with Python, C++ or JavaScript and OO programming.
• Experience with large-scale software environments (CUDA, HPC or cloud).
• TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end remote sensing processing systems for EO/IR missions.
• Lead development of radiometric and spectral response models.
• Oversee imaging algorithms including multi-frame super-resolution, deconvolution, and low-SNR enhancement.
• Direct ML-based anomaly detection, behavior classification, and object discrimination.
• Design multi-sensor fusion pipelines using Bayesian or ML methods.
• Lead trajectory estimation and 3D kinematic modeling.
• Architect scalable scientific computing solutions using Python, C++, CUDA, HPC or cloud.
• Collaborate with engineers and set roadmaps with client and mission leadership.
