Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for a 12-month contract in Palm Bay, FL (32905). The role requires active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance and involves leading design teams, developing CAD data packages, prototyping, and rigorous testing of mechanical subsystems.

You will coordinate with stakeholders, perform design reviews, and support field demonstrations while ensuring compliance with GD&T and manufacturing practices. A Bachelor's degree and substantial experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 4+ years acceptable.
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide communications to stakeholders and generate technical data packages.
• Prototype, integrate, and test components and assemblies.
• Develop test plans and procedures for mechanical subsystems.
• Perform test and evaluation of components and systems.
• Participate in design reviews and product change discussions.
• Lead a design team of designers, technicians, and operators.
• Support field testing as ME field representative.
