Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to assess and request customer authorization for company-managed classified endpoints, servers, networks, and security appliances, applying evolving U.S. government cybersecurity policy and guidance.

The ISSO ensures auditing, vulnerability scanning, and configuration management per customer-approved documentation and policy, and monitors program system administrators to ensure security procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience applying security concepts, requirements, design, development, implementation, and integration to information systems.
• Knowledge of RMF and system assessment/authorization through a GRC tool.
• Knowledge of risk mitigation and designing security controls.
• Knowledge of incident response and data loss prevention, detection, and response.
• Knowledge of NIST and FISMA requirements for monitoring and reporting.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED
