Job summary

Dark Wolf in Chantilly/Herndon, VA seeks a Junior / Entry-Level Data Engineer to support scalable data pipelines in secure environments, ingest, clean, and transform data for mission-critical applications.

You will build ETL/ELT pipelines with Python and SQL, ingest data from diverse sources, and perform profiling and quality checks. Docker deployment and an active TS/SCI clearance are required. Bachelor's degree and 0–4+ years experience expected.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with active TS/SCI and Full-Scope Polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field; Master's preferred.
• 0-4+ years of data engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines with Python and SQL.
• Ingest data from structured and unstructured sources into databases.
• Perform data profiling, quality checks, and schema validation.
• Build and run Docker-based deployment modules.
• Run security scanning tools and conduct unit tests for quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and backlog refinement.
