Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an App Developer to support a national leading aerospace and global security program. The role is on-site in King of Prussia, PA, offering long-term growth and a path to advance within a team of experienced Software Developers.

Responsibilities include applying standards across the software lifecycle, developing business/mission applications, and correcting errors while documenting progress. Requires TS/SCI or TS clearance and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Active TS (Top Secret) OR TS/SCI Clearance REQUIRED.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of frontend or full stack development.
• 2+ years of experience with Java, React, Angular, and Spring Boot highly PREFERRED.
• Experience with DevSecOps, Angular, or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with geospatial data/engineering is a plus.
• Ability to work with XML.
• Proven experience in COTS/FOSS integration and support.
• Ability to troubleshoot and navigate multiple operating system environments including LINUX/Windows.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
• Correct program errors, compiling documentation of program development, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
• Ensure software standards are defined and met.
