Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an App Developer to support a national aerospace and global security program. This on-site role in Herndon, VA offers long-term growth and a chance to work with a team of skilled software developers.

Required are a Top Secret/TS or TS/SCI clearance, 3+ years in software engineering, and 2+ years in frontend or full-stack development with Java, React, Angular, and SpringBoot. Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and geospatial experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active TS (Top Secret) clearance OR TS/SCI clearance REQUIRED.
• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of front-end or full stack development experience.
• 2+ years of Java, React, Angular, and SpringBoot experience (highly preferred).
• Experience with DevSecOps, Angular, or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with geospatial data/engineering is a plus.
• Ability to work with XML.
• Proven experience in COTS/FOSS integration and support.
• Ability to troubleshoot across Linux and Windows environments.
• Bachelor(s) degree required.

Responsibilities

• Apply standards, processes, and tools throughout the software development life cycle.
• Develop software based on user requirements and system information gathered.
• Correct program errors and document program development; analyze system capabilities.
• Ensure software standards are defined and met.
