BizFirst LLC is recruiting for a Software Engineer L2 (C++ Ingest and VoIP Processing) to join an onsite Intelligence Community mission support team in Fort Meade, MD. The role emphasizes C++ ingest processing, VoIP, and streaming data processing within a mission-focused environment.

The candidate must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, possess a Computer Engineering or Computer Science degree (or equivalent experience), and be comfortable working onsite in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science.
• 14 years of software engineering with a degree or 18 years without a degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience with C++ ingest processing and component development.
• Experience developing circuit and packet processing systems and streaming data processing.
• Linux/Unix command line and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of data and VoIP processing and related networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop C++ code for ingest processing and mission software components.
• Write C-based micro plugins and build streaming data processing functionality.
• Modify processing parameters and system configurations to resolve problems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure proper data formatting and transmission.
• Collaborate onsite at Fort Meade, MD with the team.
